La Villa Serere
A haven of peace in Popenguine, Senegal
The Villa is composed of 3 buildings in which you can stay, all located in the same park of 2500m2, with gardens and swimming pool. It is kept all year round by a guardian living in the property. The house benefits from a generator and a drilling ensuring its independence in water and electricity. The occupants of any building have of course access to the pool.
The Villa is located 500m as the crow flies from the sea, on the hill of Thioupam, sheltered from the sea spray, but close enough to the beach to walk there. You can easily enjoy the beach of Thioupam, one of the most beautiful of the small coast. 20 minutes from the new airport AIBD, it is also an ideal stop for your transfers.
The main building consists of 4 rooms
The main building has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a dining room and an equipped kitchen. Each room is decorated with its own style, but their comfort is equivalent. The upper rooms all have wooden floors and Dibetou tropical wooden beds. All rooms are air conditioned and all bathrooms have hot water.
Note that one of the rooms does not have a shower, and can only be rented for children who will take a shower in the parents’ room.

The building is equipped with WiFi and CANALSAT. You can stay there alone or B & B. The equipped kitchen is at your disposal if you want to prepare your own meals or breakfast. In B & B, the breakfasts are served on the terrace, facing the garden, with sea view, or by the pool. You benefit from two lounges, one on the floor, the other on the ground floor.
The kitchen and living rooms are common to the different occupants of the rooms. If you cook your meals, you can serve in the living room, on the terrace or in the garden box, at your convenience.
The independent pavilion composed of two rooms
The detached pavilion has two bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom (with hot water). You can stay in B & B. Breakfasts will be served on the private terrace, overlooking the sea.
The rooms of the pavilion are air-conditioned. You benefit from Wifi and CANAL SAT.
The secondary building with its suite
The secondary building has a 150 m² luxury suite with living room, dining room, bedroom, bathroom and dressing room, and its private terrace equipped with a luxurious outdoor lounge. The room is air-conditioned, parquet floor, the bathroom offers shower and bath. Wifi access and CANAL SAT. Given the load of maintenance and preparation, the suite is rented at least a week.
You can stay in B & B. Breakfasts will be served on the private terrace, overlooking the sea.
The swimming pool
Vous pourrez vous relaxer au bord de la piscine, et profiter des transats sous les paillotes. Les frigos des différents bâtiments sont bien entendu à votre disposition pour y placer des boissons fraiches dont vous pourrez profiter sur les transats ou les terrasses.

Bar and catering
A bar service is at your disposal, where you can be served at any place in the property. The card is available in your room.
In case you opt for the B & B formula, we prepare an American breakfast (with scrambled eggs or omelette), yoghurt, local juices, etc … which will be served on the terrace, in your room or on the edge of the sea. swimming pool. Breakfast will be served for an extra charge of 4,000 FCFA per adult and 3,000 FCFA per child.
You can order dishes (simple and local cuisine) for You can then take your meals either on your terraces or in the central box for moments of exchange. The price is unique and 4,000 FCFA and meals must be ordered 2 hours in advance. They are indeed prepared only on demand. The card is available in your room.
Facilities
For guests opting for a long stay, a laundry service is available free of charge. Ironing is against payment. However, the necessary for ironing is at your disposal.
Services
We offer airport-Villa transfers in air-conditioned vehicles, for a fixed price of 10.000 FCFA (15 Euros) one way. The transfer time is 20 minutes.
